Littlestone golf course
The Littlestone Golf Course, just 1.6 miles from the Captain Howey Hotel, has been a part of New Romney's
landscape since 1888. Nestled in the quiet, preserved area of the Marsh, the course features two 18-hole layouts.
It regularly hosts competitive golfers, but visitors are also welcome. For availability and reservations, please
inquire at the Pro Shop located at the entrance of the course.
Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway
The New Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch railway station is located right across from the hotel. It is one of
the most famous attractions in the area. Built in 1927, it covers a distance of approximately 13 and a half miles.
You can book a ride on the train, which offers a better view of the surrounding landscapes. You can stop at Dungeness
or even travel to the nearby villages of Dymchurch and Hythe. In Dymchurch, you can spend an afternoon at the beach
or take the children to the amusement park.
